 To support our journey, we are looking for a

  Senior Electrical Power Engineer
 </strong>
 to join the Electrical Transmission team in Entr.
 <br/>
 <br/>
 You will be part of a team that develops High Voltage Power Systems. Our team consists of leading experts working across areas that include offshore wind, transmission grid, offshore electrification, power to/from shore, offshore- and onshore substations, and advanced subsea power distribution systems. We combine in-house technology and close cooperation with leading suppliers with deep system analysis competence to create the best solutions for our customers.

 What will you be doing?

  As a Key Member Of The Team, You Will
  <br/>
  <br/>
 </strong>
 <ul>
  <li>
   Advise our clients and perform studies and Front-end engineering related to high voltage electrical power systems, both HVDC and AC.
  </li>
  <li>
   Screen and develop system solutions for offshore substations; fixed, floating, subsea.
  </li>
  <li>
   Perform analyses on the complete high voltage power systems, for instance from offshore wind turbines, IAC cables, export cables, substation design offshore and onshore, grid connection.
  </li>
  <li>
   Participate in tenders, R&amp;D-projects and technical support in execution projects, as well as strategy processes.
  </li>
  <li>
   Be a SME across a great network in Aker Solutions.

  We Think You Should Have
  <br/>
  <br/>
 </strong>
 <ul>
  <li>
   M.Sc. or similar within Electrical Power Engineering
  </li>
  <li>
   Minimum 8 years of experience from the energy business, e.g. within grid, industrial, wind, offshore or subsea high voltage power systems and components
  </li>
  <li>
   Experience within engineering, delivery and follow-up of electrical systems/equipment and projects.
  </li>
  <li>
   Knowledge of design, engineering, commissioning of HVDC converter stations and/or HV/AC substations is an advantage.
  </li>
  <li>
   Experience from power system simulation tools is advantageous, but not required. We use DIgSILENT PowerFactory, Flux2D/UFIELD etc., and will train you as needed.
  </li>
  <li>
   Fluent in English with good verbal and written communication skills
  </li>
  <li>
