 . Due to the unique engineering skills of our team, we are able to plan and execute marine and land cable installation projects anywhere in the world. We are able to overcome environmental constraints and client requirements with our unique engineering expertise. This time our team is expanding, so we are looking for a new colleague.

  Getting a flying start
  <br/>

 </strong>
 To succeed in
 <strong>
  Marine Installation
 </strong>
 , you need experience in the
 <em>
  energy, maritime, offshore, oil&amp;gas, marine, and construction
 </em>
 fields. The SOW of our projects will require you to
 <strong>
  be an expert in geophysical and geotechnical surveys.
 </strong>
 Working closely with project
 <strong>
  subcontractors
 </strong>
 , you will first
 <em>
  evaluate survey proposals
 </em>
 and then
 <em>
  specify survey equipment/personnel
 </em>
 needed for our own installation vessels. This will be based on
 <em>
  project requirements and frame agreements with the survey subcontractors
 </em>
 . You will provide
 <em>
  survey input to procedures, plans, analyses, calculations and other documentation
 </em>
 . You will be an active participant in
 <em>
  developing technical solutions
 </em>
 related to the survey aspect of marine cable laying and marine subsea protection. On top of that, you will participate
 <em>
  in QA and HSE activities
 </em>
 internally in the department and in projects.

 <strong>
  Your starting point when you join
 </strong>
 <br/>
 <br/>
 <ul>
  <li>
   BSc or MSc degree in the area of Land &amp; Hydrographic surveying, Geophysics Geology, Geomatics or similar
  </li>
  <li>
   More than 5 years of relevant experience from offshore or subsea operations related to the following operations; Geophysical &amp;Geotechnical survey or positioning
  </li>
  <li>
   Relevant background could be online surveyor, survey data processing, project surveyor
  </li>
  <li>
   Knowledge about ESRI ArcGIS and Eiva Navimodel will be an advantage. In this role the likelihood of succeeding will increase if you are used to work structured and accurate when writing technical documentation/procedures.
  </li>
  <li>
   Our fast-paced environment allows us to meet short deadlines and work at high speed.

   Fluent in English &ndash; oral and written. Norwegian is a plus.
