  Responsibilities
  <br/>
  <br/>
 </strong>
 <ul>
  <li>
   Work with various Textron Business Units to deliver and support network services.
  </li>
  <li>
   Monitor, configure, architect, and troubleshoot all internally managed LAN networks.
  </li>
  <li>
   Physically install network hardware and necessary cabling.
  </li>
  <li>
   Guide and train junior team members on switches, routers, WLAN, and AAA services.
  </li>
  <li>
   Create and maintain network drawings and documentation.
  </li>
  <li>
   Improve processes for Textron&rsquo;s global voice and data network communication systems.
  </li>
  <li>
   Approve new and changed network architectures for the enterprise and Textron business units.
  </li>
  <li>
   Collaborate with ICOE service delivery managers and BU leaders to align with Textron network strategy.
  </li>
  <li>
   Provide subject matter expertise on data network communications.
  </li>
  <li>
   Provide on-call support and monitoring of the enterprise network on a rotation.
  </li>
  <li>
   Develop technology upgrade plans for network hardware and software.

  Education/Experience
  <br/>
  <br/>
 </strong>
 <ul>
  <li>
   Associate degree in an IT-related field required; bachelor&rsquo;s degree preferred, or 10+ years of IT network engineering experience.
  </li>
  <li>
   Minimum 6 years&rsquo; experience in IT; 10 years&rsquo; experience preferred.
  </li>
  <li>
   Experience in voice and data network communication operations preferred.
  </li>
  <li>
   Cisco hardware/software deployment and management experience required.
  </li>
  <li>
   CCNA certification required; CCNP, CCIE preferred.
  </li>
  <li>
   Experience with enterprise and distributed data center LAN/WAN architectures preferred.
  </li>
  <li>
   Cisco Wireless, Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE), and Cisco ASA experience preferred.
  </li>
  <li>
   Experience with global MPLS WAN implementations preferred.
  </li>
  <li>
   Palo Alto Firewall experience required; Palo Alto Panorama and Prisma experience preferred.
  </li>
  <li>
   Understanding of outsourced services delivery model preferred.
  </li>
  <li>
   VoIP technologies experience preferred.
  </li>
  <li>
   Experience in new computing architectures and networked computing structures preferred.
  </li>
  <li>
   Understanding and working knowledge of SD-WAN technology and deployment preferred.
  </li>
  <li>
   VeloCloud experience preferred.

   Experience with multi-site Local Area Network/WLAN management.

   Ability to plan operations requirements one to three years in advance.
  </li>

   Experience in creating and defining new operations models and procedures.
  </li>

   Ability to build effective partnerships with third-party service suppliers.
  </li>
  <li>
   Adaptability to rapidly changing technology and dynamic business needs.
  </li>
  <li>
   Excellent oral and written communication skills, with ability to present technical information effectively.

   Understanding of IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL) processes and certifications desired.
