 As a Cybersecurity Engineer at HEPCO Inc., you will be responsible for safeguarding our clients&rsquo; network infrastructure and ensuring the security of our client&rsquo;s systems. You will work on implementing, managing, and troubleshooting network and security solutions, and will be a key player in our cybersecurity initiatives.

  Years Of Experience
  <br/>

 </strong>
 <ul>
  <li>
   Must have an Associate's, Bachelor's, Master's, and/or PhD degree in a relevant field.
  </li>
  <li>
   2+ years of experience in cybersecurity and network engineering or a related field.
   <br/>
   <br/>
  </li>
 </ul>
 <strong>
  Mandatory Required Skills:
  <br/>
  <br/>
 </strong>
 <ul>
  <li>
   Strong understanding of network concepts (e.g., subnetting, protocols, OSI model, etc.).
  </li>
  <li>
   Proven experience in implementing, managing, and troubleshooting network infrastructure (e.g., routers, switches, etc.).
  </li>
  <li>
   In-depth knowledge of tools and strategies to implement network security (e.g., CISCO ISE, AAA Framework, etc.).
  </li>
  <li>
   Experience in the implementation and usage of network security appliances (e.g., firewalls, IDS/IPS, NAC, etc.).
  </li>
  <li>
   Solid understanding of cybersecurity concepts.

  </li>
 </ul>
 <strong>
  Must have Knowledge of:

 </strong>
 <ul>
  <li>
   BGP, OSPF, and switching (Cisco)
  </li>
  <li>
   Physical access control systems
  </li>
  <li>
   Video management systems
  </li>
  <li>
   Virtualization and infrastructure (VMware, virtual switches)
  </li>
  <li>
   Endpoint credential management
  </li>
  <li>
   Privileged access management
  </li>
  <li>
   Cybersecurity incident response plans/programs
  </li>
  <li>
   Threat detection and vulnerability assessments
  </li>
  <li>
   Implementing deception technology (honeypot/honeynets)
  </li>
  <li>
   Data analysis
  </li>
  <li>
   DWDM and SONET
  </li>
  <li>
   Nozomi maintenance and management
  </li>
  <li>
   TDI administration and management
  </li>
  <li>
   Gigamon maintenance and management

  </li>
 </ul>

  Key Responsibilities:
  <br/>
  <br/>
 </strong>
 <ul>
  <li>
   Design and implement network and security solutions to protect the organization's infrastructure.
  </li>
  <li>
   Manage and maintain network security appliances and systems.
  </li>
  <li>
   Monitor network and security performance and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
  </li>
  <li>
   Implement and manage cybersecurity measures to defend against threats.
  </li>
  <li>
   Collaborate with other IT and security teams to support overall IT and security infrastructure.
  </li>
  <li>
   Develop and maintain up-to-date documentation of network and security configurations and procedures.
  </li>
  <li>
   Stay current with emerging technologies, cybersecurity threats, and industry best practices.
