 We are seeking a Senior Tax Accountant with at least five years recent tax experience in public accounting. The candidate must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
 <br/>

 We are a small, well-established CPA firm located in Newport Beach, CA. We have a congenial work environment and offer flexible work hours and a reasonable work / life balance. Okay to work from home up to three days a week if desired. Part-time work is an option if desired by applicant. Compensation commensurate with experience and benefit package available for full-time employees.

 Responsibilities:
 <br/>
 <br/>
 <ul>
  <li>
  </li>
  <li>
   Review client provided general ledger and financial statements and prepare journal entries as needed to compile mid-year and year-end financial statements for book and tax purposes;
  </li>
  <li>
  </li>
  <li>
   Prepare individual, corporate, partnership, trust, and exempt organizations tax returns including some multi-state issues;
  </li>
  <li>
  </li>
  <li>
   Consult with clients and provide tax planning;
  </li>
  <li>
  </li>
  <li>
   Develop strong working relationships with clients;

 Qualifications:

 <br/>
 <ul>
  <li>
  </li>
  <li>
   CPA Designation
  </li>
  <li>
  </li>
  <li>
   Bachelor&rsquo;s Degree in Accounting
  </li>
  <li>
  </li>
  <li>
   Master&rsquo;s Degree in Taxation a plus but not required
  </li>
  <li>
  </li>
  <li>
   Minimum of 5 years recent public accounting experience
  </li>
