<div> <p> <strong> Title: Environmental Project Manager/ Planner </strong> </p> <p> <strong> Location: San Francisco Bay Area / Northern California / Central Valley </strong> </p> <p> <br/> </p> <p> <strong> Responsibilities </strong> </p> <p> Project management </p> <p> Scope, schedule and budget management </p> <p> Lead technical document preparation </p> <p> Manage client relationships </p> <p> Ensure quality of work products </p> <p> Manage permit application development oversight and review </p> <p> Manage project tracking and reporting </p> <p> Lead consultation, permit strategy development and technical review of biological reports, permit applications and impact assessments prepared to satisfy NEPA and CEQA requirements </p> <p> <br/> </p> <p> <strong> Requirements </strong> : </p> <p> At least 5-years prior experience and demonstrable proficiency managing moderate to complex regulatory projects or programs </p> <p> 4-year degree in biology, environmental planning, natural resources, or related field </p> <p> Strong written and verbal communication skills </p> <p> Strong interpersonal skills, ability to resolve problems and to work with stakeholders </p> <p> Competence with laptops, tablets, smartphones, and Microsoft Office </p> <p> Driver’s license </p> <p> Ability to travel, work outdoors in inclement weather, and to hike and walk over rough terrain in mountainous areas </p> <p> Ability to work occasional overtime and weekends </p> <p> <br/> </p> <p> <strong> Desired </strong> : </p> <p> Master’s degree in biology, environmental planning, natural resources or related field </p> <p> Project Management Professional (PMP) certification </p> <p> Special status species handling permits </p> <p> Certified Wetland Delineator </p> <p> Qualified Stormwater Developer (QSD) or Qualified Stormwater Professional (QSP) </p> <p> <br/> </p> <p> Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. </p> <p> <br/> </p> <p> Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law. </p> </div>
