   KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  </strong>
 </p>
 <ul>
  <li>
   Manage and maintain the database landscape hosted on Azure Services, including multiple instances of Microsoft SQL Server operating globally.
  </li>
  <li>
   Collaborate with software developers and other stakeholders to ensure the optimal performance, security, availability, and scalability of the database systems.
  </li>
  <li>
   Implement and monitor backup, recovery, and disaster recovery strategies for the database systems.
  </li>
  <li>
   Design and develop database schemas, tables, views, stored procedures, functions, triggers, and indexes.
  </li>
  <li>
   Perform database tuning, optimization, and troubleshooting using various tools and techniques.
  </li>
  <li>
   Ensure compliance with data governance policies and best practices.
  </li>

   PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS
  </strong>
 </p>
 <ul>
  <li>
   At least 3 years of experience as a Database Administrator, preferably with Microsoft SQL Server and Azure Services.
  </li>
  <li>
   Experience with cloud-based database services, such as Azure SQL Database, Azure SQL Managed Instance, Azure Synapse Analytics, and Azure AI Search.
  </li>
  <li>
   Experience working with GDPR regulation and ISO frameworks
  </li>
  <li>
   Strong knowledge of SQL, T-SQL, and database design principles.
  </li>
  <li>
   Experience with database performance tuning, optimization, and monitoring tools.
  </li>
  <li>
   Experience with database backup, recovery, and disaster recovery strategies.
  </li>
  <li>
   Experience with data security, encryption, and auditing.
  </li>
  <li>
   Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
  </li>
  <li>
   Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  </li>
  <li>
   Ability to learn new technologies and tools quickly.
  </li>
