  Finch was started by 2 friends (Nino &amp; Steph 🙇🏾&zwj;&male;️🙇🏻&zwj;&female;️) who struggled with anxiety and depression and found self-care challenging to stick with. Finch was built to make self care fun and accessible after seeing many others share similar struggles.
 </p>

  The app was launched in 2021, and our team is grateful to be able to help others on their mental health journeys. At Finch we are creating the most accessible, fun, and comprehensive self-care solution to help everyone feel happier and more supported each day.

   Key Responsibilities
  </strong>
 </p>
 <ul>
  <li>
   Design playful &amp; delightful flows, interactions, and high-fidelity visuals for mental health exercises, gaming mechanics, and growth loops. Prototype concrete solutions to ambiguous product challenges.
  </li>
  <li>
   Create new design patterns that are intuitive and practical. Evolve our design system intentionally as we scale.
  </li>
  <li>
   Design product concepts that balance product vision, speed, and business potential.
  </li>
  <li>
   Work cross-functionally with engineering, product design, character design and character animation.
  </li>

   How can we revolutionize the way people interact with their mobile devices to be mentally beneficial instead of mentally degrading?

   How can we reimagine wellness exercises like CBT, mental health insights, and more to help people navigate the ups and downs in their lives?

   How can we create a generalizable platform of mental health tools that can cater to a wide range of experiences, from people still figuring out their self care routines to others who know exactly what they need to do?

   Requirements
  </strong>
 </p>
 <ul>
  <li>
   4+ years industry experience designing consumer mobile apps at scale
  </li>
  <li>
   Ability to untangle vague conceptual problems, and have a sharp intuition for the most accessible mental models and flows, so users can immediately start gaining value out of the product.
  </li>
  <li>
   A strong eye for visual polish and user delight. You can create and prototype clear, intuitive, and appealing UI and interactions and enjoys thinking playfully &amp; creatively.
  </li>
  <li>
   Pragmatic about the implications and practicality of your designs. You don't get stuck on pretty UI or deep abstractions, and can balance between craft, speed, and product goals.
  </li>
  <li>
   Ability to internalize all inputs and feedback to help you reach an optimal decision for the team and mission.
  </li>
  <li>
   Big plus if you have hands-on experience with coding, illustration and/or game design.
  </li>
