 360Connect is seeking a skilled
 <strong>
  Jr. Web Developer &amp; Designer
 </strong>
 to work on a multitude of varying projects. The right individual for this role must be a creative problem solver with strong knowledge of web technologies including PHP, HTML, CSS and JavaScript, and have a keen eye for graphic design and UI/UX concepts. This role will work as a creative and technical implementation stakeholder for our CMS and will collaborate with other developers and department managers to ensure technical vision is appropriately planned, outlined, socialized, documented, and implemented.

  Responsibilities:
  <br/>
  <br/>
 </strong>
 <ul>
  <li>
   Work with the Website Manager and Marketing department to plan and implement strategic technical and user-friendly web solutions
  </li>
  <li>
   Write code that is clean, efficient, stable, and secure
  </li>
  <li>
   Assure quality and compatibility of all frontend and backend assets
  </li>
  <li>
   Maintain website CMS system (WordPress) including overseeing deployment of software upgrades, enhancements, and fixes
  </li>
  <li>
   Graphic design for mediums including web and email.
  </li>
  <li>
   Drive technical decisions about functionality and user experience
  </li>
  <li>
   Set up best practices, industry standards and efficient processes and enforce them
  </li>
  <li>
   Research new technologies to optimize the current solutions and to make them sustainable for the future, applying in-house standards and market best practices
  </li>
  <li>
   Scope projects, map dependencies and provide implementation details
  </li>
  <li>
   Monitor and optimize web assets and performance
  </li>
  <li>
   Address server downtime and error logs, and ensure the best quality of service needed to support the web architecture

  Qualifications
  <br/>
  <br/>
 </strong>
 <ul>
  <li>
   1+ years of experience in various web development/admin / QA roles
  </li>
  <li>
   Experience working with the PHP programming language
  </li>
  <li>
   Practical knowledge and familiarity with WordPress environment and its architecture, capabilities, and features
  </li>
  <li>
   Good understanding of web technologies, frameworks, and architecture
  </li>
  <li>
   Code/website optimization experience including utilizing profiling techniques
  </li>
  <li>
   Experience working with 3rd party API&rsquo;s
  </li>
  <li>
   Understanding of UI/UX, cross-browser compatibility, general web functions, and standards
  </li>
  <li>
   Graphic design experience in applications like Photoshop
  </li>
  <li>
   Working in local / development, staging, and production environments both in the office and remotely
