 We are seeking a Junior Web Developer who is excited to work collaboratively within our team. In this role, you will help develop and maintain internal websites, manage databases, provide user support, and offer IT assistance to internal users. The ideal candidate should possess 1-3 years of hands-on experience in user support, proficiency in web development, and a solid understanding of the Windows operating system.

 This role is onsite 5 days a week - location Elgin.

  Responsibilities

 <ul>
  <li>
   Contribute to internal web development projects utilizing HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, MySQL, WordPress, ASP.NET, and C#.
  </li>
  <li>
   Maintain and update current websites and portals.
  </li>
  <li>
   Write well-designed, efficient code following best practices.
  </li>
  <li>
   Utilize Agile development methodologies.
  </li>
  <li>
   Provide technical support to employees and addressing software issues efficiently.
  </li>
  <li>
   Conduct regular maintenance and troubleshooting for desktops, laptops, printers, and peripheral devices.
  </li>
  <li>
   Meet with clients to discuss requirements and project progress.
  </li>
  <li>
   Demonstrate and gather feedback on site modifications.
  </li>
  <li>
   Stay updated with recent technological and software advancements.
  </li>
  <li>
   Enthusiastic about learning new skills and striving for improvement.
  </li>
  <li>
   Collaborate as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  </li>
  <li>
   Generate requested reports in NetSuite.
  </li>
  <li>
   Manage and maintain the NetSuite database.
  </li>

   Perform other assigned duties as needed.

   Required: HTML5, CSS, JavaScript.
  </li>

   Preferred: PHP, MySQL, WordPress, Shopify, WooCommerce, NetSuite, ASP.NET, C#.

   Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems.
  </li>
  <li>
   Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word proficiency a must.
  </li>
  <li>
   Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to relate well within the organization.
