   Education &amp; Experience Required:
  </strong>
 </p>
 <ul>
  <li>
   A Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical or Electrical engineering with relevant manufacturing experience.
  </li>
  <li>
   Experience and knowledge of Six sigma, Lean Manufacturing practices and/or APQP
  </li>
  <li>
   Minimum 5 years total engineering experience
  </li>
  <li>
   Will consider candidates with Master&rsquo;s Degree and/or PHD w/minimum 5 years related experience
  </li>
 </ul>

   Technical Skills
  </strong>

  <strong>

 </p>
 <ul>
  <li>
   Problem Solving: Knowledge of approaches, tools, techniques for recognizing, anticipating, and resolving organizational, operational or process problems; ability to apply knowledge of problem solving appropriately in diverse situations.
  </li>

   Understanding of Control Systems, APQP, NPI (New Product Introduction), CPI (Current Product Improvement), and/or Project Risk Analysis
  </li>
  <li>
   Production Part Approval Process (PPAP): Expert Knowledge of Production Part Approval Processes (PPAP) elements, submissions, and objectives; ability to determine whether a supplier can manufacture products that meet the quality requirements and standards of their customers consistently.
  </li>
  <li>
   Process Improvement: Extensive understanding and insight into evaluating current product quality and production methods and ability to maintains focus on the continuous improvement of processes, products and services
  </li>
  <li>
   Understanding BIQ, poke yoke
  </li>
  <li>
   CAD design and detailing
  </li>
 </ul>

   Lean Manufacturing: Knowledge of the philosophy, principles and implementation approaches of lean manufacturing; ability to integrate and implement lean manufacturing philosophy into existing production and management processes.
