   GL Accountant
  </strong>

 <p>
  A multinational retailer is looking for an articulate finance professional to join their team as a GL Accountant in the APAC region. In this hands-on role, the ideal candidate will be a proactive problem-solver and self-starter responsible for regional accounting operations.
 </p>
 <p>

 <p>
  <strong>
   Responsibilities:
  </strong>
 </p>
 <ul>
  <li>
   Perform daily general ledger accounting duties
  </li>
  <li>
   Prepare inter-company and inventory reconciliations and maintain the fixed assets register
  </li>
  <li>
   Calculate and oversee monthly rental expenses for each point-of-sale location
  </li>
  <li>
   Draft monthly accruals for discussion with the Business Planning team for each brand
  </li>
  <li>
   Prepare monthly group financial reports
  </li>
  <li>
   Assist with the preparation of various tax filings and audited financial statements
  </li>
  <li>
   Provide support for internal audits and control reviews
  </li>
  <li>
   Support supervisor on process improvement and corporate projects, such as system enhancement, new store openings, business takeover, etc
  </li>
 </ul>

   Requirements:
  </strong>
 </p>
 <ul>
  <li>
   Bachelor's degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field
  </li>
  <li>
   Minimum of 3 years in handling full set of books and General ledger, preferably within the retail/ FMCG/ wholesale industry
  </li>
  <li>
   Regional exposures across the Asia Pacific region will be highly desirable
  </li>
  <li>
   Self-motivation, strong sense of responsibility, detail-minded and working independently
  </li>
  <li>
   Proficiency in using Excel &amp; ERP Accounting Software (AX 365 a plus)
  </li>
  <li>
   Excellent written and spoken English &amp; Chinese
  </li>
 </ul>
