  Senior Golang Engineer

 You will work directly with our CTO and Senior Engineering Leaders to write performant and scalable backend code for both our teacher and tutor products. We&rsquo;re looking for a star who can work with our modern tech stack and make a massive contribution.

  Your Experience

 </strong>
 <ul>
  <li>
   A minimum of 5+ years in software engineering, with a focus on backend development.
  </li>
  <li>
   Proficiency in modern tech stacks, including Golang, stream processing, modern databases (e.g., Kubernetes), and languages like Go and Rust
  </li>
  <li>
   Experience in functional languages and a desire to push the boundaries of EdTech software.
  </li>
  <li>
   A passion for self-growth and a track record of thriving in innovative settings.

   Tutero is currently facilitating 2,200 hours of data-driven tutoring a month, with plans to scale to 8,000 hours a month in 2023. The team is also bringing in $140k of monthly revenue.

   By all accounts, this trio is unstoppable. Joey is the business brains, Sonny is the full-stack-trained generalist and Richard is the engineering prodigy. This is what those in the biz call &lsquo;a triple threat&rsquo;.

   &ldquo;We're shortly releasing our teacher app, and a big focus over the next 12 months will be iterating with speed and growing the user base. Another area of focus is scaling our tutoring,&rdquo; Joey shares.
