Job Description

Key Responsibilities 
* Financial Reporting: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with German accounting standards (HGB).
* Bookkeeping: Perform accurate and timely bookkeeping for clients, including journal entries, general ledger maintenance, and account reconciliations.
* Tax Compliance: Assist in the preparation and submission of tax returns (VAT, income tax, etc.) for individuals and businesses.
* Client Communication: Collaborate with clients to ensure their financial documents are complete, accurate, and up-to-date.
* Financial Analysis: Support the development of financial analyses, budgets, and forecasts for clients.
* Audit Support: Provide necessary documents and explanations to support audits and other financial reviews.
* Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that all financial activities comply with German accounting and tax laws.
Qualifications 
* Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
* Professional experience (2+ years) in accounting or a similar role, ideally within a tax advisory firm or a related industry.
* Strong knowledge of German accounting standards (HGB) and tax regulations.
* Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., DATEV, SAP) and Microsoft Office Suite.]
* Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines.
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
* Good communication skills in both German and English (written and spoken).
