Position summary 
 One of our client, a well-known tech company, is opening a new kitchen for its employees. We are thus looking for a Chef, who will also act as a Restaurant Manager, to supervising the kitchen operations, directing and administering the planning, preparation, production and control of all culinary operations onsite while continuing effort to deliver outstanding client services and development.
 
  
Responsibilities 
* Guide, build & operate the operations, in partnership with the Western Europe Director and the Account Manager
* Ensure that customers are satisfied with their High-End food experience and that the business is profitable.
* Recruit, coach, develop and lead all team members
* Provide weekly/monthly reporting metrics to the Account Manager and Western Europe Director in a timely manner
* Maintain standards of quality and service
* Ensure client requests and feedback, both verbal and written are responded to promptly and efficiently
* Oversee food safety programs including daily check, audits and trainings, partnering with the Regional Hygiene and Safety Manager
* Train and educate staff on new menu items and changes in procedures for current menu items; monitor and hold staff accountable for implementing the change
* Work with the client on on-going and seasonal menu development for our standard menus, internal menu tastings and photo shoots.
* Work with the General Manager on special menu requests, creating menus, thinking through logistics, cost and labor.
* Ensure all team members have a complete understanding of the company's policy relating to food safety, hygiene and safety; including staff training and adherence by all
* Partner with Human Resources to meet legal compliances and adherence to Company policy
* Responsible for consistently meeting the Company's Key Performance Indicators
* Work with department heads to create/develop programs and SOP's to establish standards and process flows.
  
Qualifications 
* 4 to 5 years experience in a leadership role within the Hospitality or Restaurant industry
* A passion for food, hospitality, and creating exceptional dining experiences
* Proven experience as a Chef de Cuisine or a similar role
* Thorough knowledge of cooking techniques and equipment
* Excellent knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations
* Excellent communication prioritization and interpersonal skills to build strong relationships with both team members and guests
* A forward-thinking approach to problem-solving and the ability to introduce new ideas that elevate the restaurants performance
* Outstanding leadership and communication skills.
* Focus on providing an exceptional guest experience and a positive working environment for their teams
* Thrives in an exciting environment while adhering to company brand and client standards
* Has hospitality experience in team building, forecasting, and staffing management
  
Contract details 
* Location: Amsterdam Centraal
* Starting date: February 2024
* Gross monthly salary: 3700€
