Pastry Chef

Key Responsibilities
* Preparation & Baking
* Create a variety of desserts, pastries, bread, and confections.
* Develop new recipes or improve existing ones.
* Decoration & Presentation
* Decorate pastries, and other desserts to ensure appealing presentation.
* Follow seasonal or thematic trends for unique designs.
* Ingredient Management
* Source high-quality ingredients and manage inventory.
* Ensure proper storage and handling to maintain freshness and quality.
* Kitchen Management
* Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen.
* Menu Development
* Collaborate with management to design dessert menus.
* Incorporate customer feedback and new trends into offerings.
* Quality Control
* Ensure all items meet taste, texture, and presentation standards.
* Consistently meet food safety and hygiene regulations.
Skills Required
* Expertise in baking techniques (e.g., tempering chocolate, working with sugar, piping).
* Creativity for new recipes and presentation styles.
* Attention to detail and precision.
* Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour
Expected hours: 25 – 35 per week
