 Step into a pivotal leadership role on the operational floor! As a direct distribution center coach, you will have the opportunity to manage a committed team, assigning and coordinating responsibilities to ensure quality customer deliveries, in a safe, efficient environment that ensures quality customer deliveries. With your leadership and problem-solving abilities, you’ll directly impact customer satisfaction and drive our mission's success.
   
  
Schedule: Afternoon Shifts, 12pm - 9pm
Your role:
* Lead and mentor a team to ensure tasks are executed safely, efficiently, and accurately, providing continuous training
* Plan and organize workflows based on orders and schedules, assign tasks aligned with team skills and availability, and coordinate with customer service on load management
* Ensure compliance with safety standards, identify training needs, and support process improvements for optimal performance
* Engage in performance reviews, implement logistical innovations, and stay updated on industry best practices
* Organize regular meetings to encourage professional enrichment, manage staffing needs, and ensure that all tasks comply with company policies and legal requirements
* Manage equipment problems by ensuring repairs or contacting maintenance
What we're looking for:
* Degree in logistics, operations management or related field, or equivalent experience
* 3 to 5 years of experience in team supervision
* Strong leadership skills, change management and understanding of logistics processes
* Functional bilingualism (asset) and proficiency in IT tools, including Microsoft Office and WMS systems
* Excellent decision-making, communication and adaptability skills under pressure, with a strong focus on results and customer service
* Ability to work in various conditions (outdoor, weather, changing environment).
