Reporting to the Sr. Commercial Manager, the Supply Chain Manager will be responsible for managing the assigned procurement activities for the for the ONxpress Civil Contractors (CJV) group that will maximize profitability, improve efficiency and drive strategies that will help achieve Project’s Procurement strategy. You are someone who will: * Manage the planning, procurement, and movement of materials for assigned procurement activities * Drives consistent procurement and contracting practices across the project * Work with key stakeholders and assist with drafting Scopes of Work and development of proposed bidders lists * Assist/Lead the preparation of RFQ/RFP packages, bid tabulations and recommendations for major commitments in accordance with Project Procurement Policy * Working with the Commercial Manager, develop the appropriate Terms and Conditions for the Work * Responsible for negotiating various subcontract and service agreements, material and equipment supply agreements * Award the Work; and, working closely with the Commercial Manager, assist team in administrating Agreements * Oversees and mentors a team of buyers assigned to specific procurement packages * Assists in staffing, management and training/coaching of direct reports * Track and monitor progress of procurement activities and performance of direct reports * Collaborates with cross-functional teams, across multiple functions, to manage the Work in a timely and efficient manner * Interface with Project Controls to monitor package costs and budgets * Supports Finance department to align invoice accounting and payables * Ensure all procurement activity is ethical and adheres to the Project Procurement Policy * Direct communication with suppliers on all critical Procurement related matters * Other duties requested by the Sr. Commercial Manager. You bring: * Bachelor’s degree in business and/or engineering, and/or recognized SCM professional designation * 10+ years’ of full lifecycle procurement and supply chain management experience required * Experience in major infrastructure construction required, with rail transportation preferred * Strong interpersonal, communication, problem-solving and negotiation skills * Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.) and SAP * Self-starter who approaches his/her work with a sense of urgency * Strong English verbal and written communication * High focus on collaboration and relationships management * Previous leadership experience required Connect with us!
