Job Description
Position: Location: Saudi Arabia Salary: Negotiable Food, accommodation and travel provided by the company Job Responsibilities: * Production Planning & Scheduling: Develop and implement production schedules to ensure timely and efficient manufacturing operations. Coordinate with other departments to ensure resources and materials are available to meet production goals. * Team Management: Lead, manage, and motivate a production team. Provide direction, guidance, and training to staff to ensure optimal performance, adherence to safety standards, and quality objectives. * Process Optimization: Continuously assess production processes and workflows to identify areas for improvement. Implement process enhancements to increase efficiency, reduce waste, and ensure cost-effective production. * Quality Control & Assurance: Oversee the quality control process, ensuring that all products meet the required quality standards and customer specifications. Address any quality issues and implement corrective actions as needed. * Resource Management: Monitor the usage of raw materials, equipment, and labor to ensure effective allocation of resources. Maintain appropriate inventory levels and ensure production materials are always available. * Health & Safety Compliance: Ensure all production activities comply with health, safety, and environmental regulations. Promote a culture of safety and ensure all employees follow safety guidelines and procedures. * Budgeting & Cost Management: Oversee production budgets and control costs associated with labor, materials, and overhead. Ensure production goals are met within budgetary constraints. * Troubleshooting & Problem-Solving: Identify and resolve production issues that may arise, such as equipment breakdowns, material shortages, or production delays. Implement proactive solutions to minimize disruptions. * Performance Reporting: Prepare and submit regular reports on production performance, including efficiency, downtime, quality metrics, and costs. Present data and insights to senior management for decision-making. * Collaboration: Collaborate with other departments, such as maintenance, quality control, and logistics, to ensure smooth and coordinated production processes. * Staff Development: Identify training needs, provide development opportunities, and ensure that the team is equipped with the skills and knowledge necessary to perform their duties effectively. Skills & Qualifications: * Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field (Master’s degree or PMP certification is a plus). * Proven leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a diverse workforce. * Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, production planning, and process optimization. * Familiarity with quality management systems (e.g., ISO) and safety regulations.
