Job Description

1. Production Planning:
· Develop and maintain production schedules based on demand forecasts and capacity constraints.
· Analyze and adjust production plans in response to changes in demand, production capabilities, and inventory levels.
2. Inventory Management:
o Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with procurement and warehouse teams to ensure optimal stock levels.
o Implement inventory control measures to minimize excess stock and reduce costs.
3. Team Leadership:
o Supervise and train production planning staff, ensuring they are equipped to meet performance goals.
o Foster a collaborative team environment focused on continuous improvement and goal achievement.
4. Cross-functional Collaboration:
o Work closely with supply chain, sales, and production teams to forecast demand and align production capabilities.
o Communicate effectively with stakeholders regarding production status and supply chain issues.
5. Performance Tracking:
o Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to production efficiency, inventory turnover, and delivery timelines.
o Prepare reports and presentations for senior management on production planning metrics.
