  Role Summary

 Delivers operational plans in line with brand and customer expectations for all brands and channels within any given shift. To meet People, Service, Process and Cost metrics through setting clear expectations and holding the right level of accountability to achieve goals and objectives. Proactively supports continuous improvement efforts. Establishes and maintains positive relationships with peers and stakeholders across site. Leads the shift in a way that furthers our culture and helps achieve our vision and values

  What You'll Be Doing
  <br/>
  <br/>
 </strong>
 <ul>
  <li>
   Lead and direct DC operations with any given shift across multiple channels and brands
  </li>
  <li>
   Maintain and stretch all SLA&rsquo;s across all operational departments within any given shift, leading the Line Manager population to ensure these are met consistently
  </li>
  <li>
   Build and maintain positive and effective internal and external stakeholder relationships (i.e. brands)
  </li>
  <li>
   Coach and develop Line Manager population to progress the operation and meet the needs of organisational succession plans
  </li>
  <li>
   Proactively lead continuous improvement efforts across a shift, driving the evolution of the site in line with overall business growth and strategy
  </li>
  <li>
   Lead our teams in a way that furthers our culture, acting in line with our vision and values
  </li>
  <li>
   Coach and develop Line Manager population in order engage and drive successful departments
  </li>
  <li>
   Maintain a great place to work

   Facilitate effective communications
  </li>
  <li>
   Drive and maintain a &ldquo;Safety first&rdquo; culture, ensuring Health &amp; Safety best practice across the site
  </li>

   Develop a culture of continuous improvement throughout the operations
  </li>
  <li>
   Interact with the relevant channel brand leads to understand, meet and exceed service requirements
  </li>
  <li>
   Work alongside other shift leads to establish operational and cultural priorities, ensuring these are met consistently
  </li>
  <li>
   Develop and implement strategic initiatives to ensure a successful and effective shift
  </li>
  <li>
   Align all direct reports to be aligned with the strategic direction of the shift, ensuring a focus on cost, resource requirements and high operational standards
  </li>
  <li>
   Work with the Head of Operations to understand and provide clarity on expectations across a shift for performance, all departmental KPIs and service level agreements
  </li>
  <li>
   Ensure accurate Standard Operating Procedures (SOP&rsquo;s) are in place across the shift and that all employees are trained against them
  </li>
  <li>
   Interact daily across all teams in order to achieve operational requirements through engagement and clear communications
  </li>
  <li>
   Communicate effectively at all levels across all internal &amp; external stakeholders: i.e. brands leads
   <br/>
   <br/>

  What You'll Need

 </strong>
 <ul>
  <li>
   Previous experience in a management role within a fast-paced distribution/warehousing environment, with a knowledge of end-to-end supply chain solutions, ideally gained in the fashion/lifestyle or other FMCG industry
  </li>
  <li>
   Strong organisational skills, with a tactical and strategic mindset, and flexible approach to meeting business needs, through timely problem solving and decision-making ability
  </li>
  <li>
   Experience of leading and managing a team, setting clear expectations and empowering their managers to deliver them. A proven ability to effectively use a variety of people management tools and processes, in order to achieve operational objectives
  </li>
  <li>
   Skilled and experience at building effective relationships with key internal and external stakeholders, within a multi-channel environment on a regional level. Able to influence at all levels
  </li>
  <li>
   Excellent communication skills both verbal and written, with a working knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems and MS Office I.T packages, in order to produce reports, presentations, and management information as required
  </li>
  <li>
   Ability to understand operational budgets and support financial performance through effective operational performances
  </li>
  <li>
   Can demonstrate extensive experience within logistics and leading a shift within a complex and evolving environment.
