<h3>Your role & responsibilities</h3><p>In the role as Product developer, you will work with mechanical engineering in the professional tools industry. We are looking for candidates who are interested to utilize their full engineering palette of skills, working with the full development cycle from early concepts to introduction into production. You will support one of our clients developing heavy duty tools and equipment, products ranging from hand-held power saws to large robots used in demolition projects of buildings.</p><p>If you have experience from developing complex plastic, steel or casted parts as a Design engineer, Component owner or similar with an ambition to take on more responsibility in also leading & coordinating the development work yourself, we are interested in hearing from you!</p><h3>Examples of work tasks</h3><ul><li>Design & develop the components, parts and/or sub-systems that falls under your responsibility, from cradle to grave.</li><li>Secure project deliverables according to set project milestones.</li><li>Collaborate and communicate with other R&D departments, suppliers and stakeholders internally as well as externally.</li><li>Create 2D and 3D documents in CAD.</li><li>Compile product requirements and make sure they are tested and verified.</li><li>Responsible to ensure that the technical documentation is available at the right level, with the right quality and at the right time throughout the project.</li></ul><h3>What you can expect</h3><p>As a consultant at Capgemini Engineering, you are part of something bigger. You will be working with cutting-edge technology, developing yourself whilst surrounded by dedicated colleagues with high expertise.</p><h3>Required qualifications</h3><ul><li>Minimum B.Sc. within Mechanical engineering or equivalent work experience. M.Sc is meriting.</li><li>A few years of work experience, preferably you have worked in all project phases from concept to release and serial production.</li><li>Strong skills in Catia V5, Solids & surfaces.</li><li>Knowledge of basic CAE calculations</li><li>Knowledgeable in doing tolerance analysis.</li><li>Preferred knowledge of Smarteam or other PLM system.</li><li>Good communication skills. Fluent in English (both written and spoken). Swedish as well as other languages is meriting.</li><li>The roles require a valid work permit for Sweden.</li></ul><p>Thank you for your interest in Capgemini Engineering.
