<h3>Position Overview:</h3><p>We are seeking a skilled and dynamic Lead Systems Analyst to join our research team. The ideal candidate will have a solid educational background in computer sciences or computer engineering, coupled with exceptional programming skills across various platforms and languages. They should possess expertise in Linux, compiling processes, and navigating High-Performance Computing (HPC) environments. Additionally, experience in developing digital dashboards and services is highly desirable, along with a preference for familiarity with cloud computing services. The successful candidate will be capable of working both independently and collaboratively, with excellent written and oral communication skills.</p><ul><li>Utilize programming skills across various platforms and languages to enhance IT infrastructure and systems.</li><li>Navigate and optimize processes within Linux environments, including compiling processes and managing HPC systems.</li><li>Collaborate with team members to design and implement IT solutions.</li><li>Stay updated on emerging technologies and trends in IT to ensure the organization remains competitive.</li><li>Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to end-users as needed.</li><li>Implement and maintain security measures to protect organizational data and systems.</li><li>Assist in the evaluation and integration of cloud computing services where applicable.</li><li>Document processes, procedures, and system configurations for reference and training purposes.</li></ul><h3>Additional Responsibilities:</h3><p>Weekly group meetings, note-taking, documentation of code and dashboards developments, conference and workshops participation.</p><h3>Job Requirements: Minimum Qualifications</h3><ul><li>BS or MS degree in computer sciences, computer engineering, or equivalent.</li><li>Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, C/C++, and others as needed.</li><li>Strong understanding of Linux systems, including compiling processes and navigating HPC environments.</li><li>Experience with HPC clusters with a preference with the SLURM scheduler.</li><li>Experience in developing digital dashboards and services.</li><li>Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.</li><li>Excellent written and oral communication skills.</li><li>Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.</li></ul><h3>Preferred Qualifications:</h3><ul><li>Experience with cloud computing services preferred.</li></ul><h3>Additional Information: Salary Range</h3><p>$70,000-$75,000</p>
