Job Description
<h3>The Accounting Manager oversees the daily operation of the company’s accounting and payroll departments ensuring accurate financial reporting, accurate completion of weekly payroll and compliance with human resource law.</h3> <p><strong>Pay:</strong> $55K-$70K annually</p> <p><strong>Schedule:</strong> Monday-Friday 8:00am-4:30pm</p> <h3>Job Duties:</h3> <ul> <li>Follow best practice accounting principles in supervision of accounts receivable and payable functions; attempt resolution of issues for more complex transactions</li> <li>Complete month end closing procedures to include account reconciliations and review of transactions</li> <li>Manage weekly payroll processes; liaise with payroll vendor regarding programmatic issues; implement and communicate improvements</li> <li>Coordinate internal and external audit preparation</li> <li>Recommend new approaches, policies, and procedures to effect continual improvements in efficiency and services performed</li> <li>Assist as backup for all areas in the office as needed</li> </ul> <h3>Qualifications:</h3> <ul> <li>5+ years experience in a finance or accounting role</li> <li>Bachelors degree in accounting or business related field</li> <li>RV or automotive industry experience preferred but not required</li> <li>Prior experience leading and managing a team</li> <li>Proficient in Microsoft Office with an emphasis on Excel</li> </ul> <h3>Supervisory Responsibilities:</h3> <p>This position supervises the office accounting team and the payroll positions.
