<h3>Date:</h3><p>Jul 17, 2024</p><h3>Location:</h3><p>St. Louis, MO, US, 63146</p><h3>Company:</h3><p>Hubbell Incorporated</p><h3>Job Overview</h3><ul><li>HUBS, Inc. has an opening for a Senior Database Administrator.</li></ul><h3>A Day In The Life</h3><ul><li><strong>Job Duties:</strong></li></ul><ul><li>Perform monitoring, health checks, troubleshooting, storage and capacity planning, patching, upgrades, and security for computer databases.</li><li>Provide technical support for database development, oversee schema, structure, and transactional processing of database system. Implement production changes.</li><li>Perform database maintenance, log shipping and user scheduled jobs.</li><li>Perform database administrator tasks, self-audit, DR verification, service pack implementation and DBA maintenance tasks.</li><li>Enforce standards, policies, processes and procedures for data management and quality.</li><li>Research technology and company business operations.</li><li>Assist in troubleshooting application and database objects.</li><li>This position is hybrid; may work from home up to 2 days per week.</li></ul><h3>What will help you thrive in this role?</h3><ul><li><strong>Qualifications:</strong></li></ul><ul><li>Must possess at least a bachelor’s degree or its equivalent in Computer Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field and at least 6 years of progressive experience as a SQL Database Administrator or in a related role</li><li>At least 4 years of experience managing and supporting SQL Server in Azure (IAAS, PAAS)</li><li>At least 4 years of experience with SSIS, SSAS, and SSRS</li><li>At least 2 years of experience with Ideara and PagerDuty DBMS monitoring and tools</li><li>At least 2 years of experience with Windows Server OS administration</li><li>At least 2 years of experience with DBMS maintenance tools</li><li>The salary for this position is $119,642 per year.</li></ul><h3>Competencies</h3><ul><li><strong>Hubbell Incorporated</strong></li></ul><p>Hubbell creates critical infrastructure solutions that power our customers, communities, people and the planet.
