  This role supports all public relations and external communications for AccentCare, a leading post-acute healthcare company. A key member of the Marketing &amp; Communications team, this position works cross-functionally across the department and the organization.

  Key responsibilities include:
 </p>
 <ul>
  <li>
   Develop and manage communications such as press releases, internal/external communications, blogs, fact sheets, messaging materials, media monitoring, and media relations. Coordinate with the internal comms and social media teams on content development and sharing.
  </li>
  <li>
   Assist with the development and maintenance of award submissions, editorial calendars/trackers.
  </li>
  <li>
   Update and maintain the web news center
  </li>
  <li>
   Build relationships with key reporters relative to the healthcare industry and greater mainstream and business press to secure media coverage.
  </li>
  <li>
   Work with our PR firm on external PR initiatives and projects
  </li>
 </ul>

  Qualifications:
 </p>
 <ul>
  <li>
   Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism or a related field
  </li>
  <li>
   min 2-3 years experience in public relations or corporate communications, ideally at a PR agency or on an in-house corporate communications team
  </li>
  <li>
   Strong writing skills and attention to detail
  </li>
