 Job Summary: The PV Solar Technician will play a crucial role in supporting the operations and maintenance of NextEra Energy's photovoltaic (PV) solar and battery storage systems. As a member of the Operations and Maintenance (O&amp;M) team, the technician will be responsible for ensuring optimal performance and reliability of clean energy systems.

   Conduct routine preventive maintenance activities on solar panels, battery storage systems, and associated equipment.
  </li>
  <li>
   Troubleshoot and undertake corrective maintenance to identify and resolve system issues, ensuring maximum system uptime and efficiency.
  </li>
  <li>
   Adhere to maintenance schedules and follow established procedures for inspections, cleaning, lubrication, and component replacements.
  </li>
  <li>
   Utilize monitoring software and tools to regularly monitor and analyze system performance, identifying deviations and inefficiencies.
  </li>
  <li>
   Generate performance reports and maintain accurate records of system performance, including energy production, equipment status, and maintenance activities.
  </li>

   Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for oneself and colleagues.
  </li>

   Adhere to environmental regulations and procedures during maintenance activities and waste management.
  </li>

   Maintain accurate documentation of O&amp;M activities, including maintenance logs, work orders, and inventory records.

 The Site Technician will support the Regional Manager or designee to ensure the perfect execution of the PGD processes. Site Technicians in a solar region perform duties in the following but are not limited to safety, contractor management, electrical/electronic/mechanical equipment operation, troubleshooting, and maintenance, overall site operations, asset management and regulatory compliance, reliability engineering, and inventory management.
