 TerranearPMC, LLC (TPMC) is seeking experienced, knowledgeable, and career focused water treatment plant Operations and Maintenance Professionals and Field Instrumentation Technicians in support of our RCRA environmental remediation and compliance program work in Los Alamos New Mexico. TPMC is a Tier 1 service provider for the prime contractor, N3B, LLC (www.n3b-la.com).

 Job Details/Duties:
 <br/>
 <br/>
 <ul>
  <li>
   Support the operation of Chromium and RDX groundwater remediation field activities.
  </li>
  <li>
   Operate small water treatment system via computer-based SCADA program.
  </li>
  <li>
   Support the collection and transport of water samples.
  </li>
  <li>
   Monitor operating conditions, meters, and gauges.
  </li>
  <li>
   Assist in minor maintenance on machinery and equipment.
  </li>
  <li>
   Keep and maintain records.
  </li>
  <li>
   Support facility access, permits, and notifications.
  </li>
  <li>
   Provide interface with the Facility Operations Director to avoid conflicts with other site activities.
  </li>
  <li>
   Coordinate with site personnel and subcontractors conducting remediation activities.
  </li>
  <li>
   Coordinate with the technical lead as required.
  </li>
  <li>
   Team with counterparts in groundwater monitoring and well drilling/maintenance areas to ensure coordination and elimination of potential technical conflicts.

 </ul>
 Candidates for either position should have working familiarity and experience with the practices, theories, methods, techniques, mathematics, shop procedures, tools, and equipment used in the design, installation, testing, calibration, maintenance, and repair of electrical, electronic, process and instrument controls, supervisory control, radio and telemetry-based SCADA systems, and radio communication equipment. Candidates should also have basic maintenance and mechanical skills with pumps and motors and an understanding of basic plumbing techniques.

 Minimum Requirements:
 <br/>
 <br/>
 <ul>
  <li>
   High school diploma or GED; at least 2 years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.
  </li>
  <li>
   A combination of education and relevant experience that demonstrate adequate knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the position&rsquo;s duties and responsibilities.
  </li>
  <li>
   Demonstrated ability to comprehend technical instruction and training.
  </li>
  <li>
   The career level of the position will be determined by the years of relevant experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities; after a candidate has been chosen.
  </li>
  <li>
   Basic understanding of principles, concepts, and techniques in the field of water treatment operations, including electrical, piping, mechanical repair, composting and related processes.
  </li>
  <li>
   Valid U.S. Driver's License.
  </li>
  <li>
   Due to the nature of work, U.S. Citizenship is required.
  </li>
  <li>
   Good written and oral communication skills.

 </ul>
 Desired Experience/Qualifications:
 <br/>
 <br/>
 <ul>
  <li>
   Certification/Licensure: Possession of a New Mexico Environment Division (NMED) Water Systems Operator Certificate.
  </li>
  <li>
   Possession of a technical diploma or associate degree in engineering, science, or related technical discipline, or equivalent.
   <br/>
   <br/>
  </li>
 </ul>
 Identified Training, Employment &amp; Physical Requirements:
 <br/>
 <br/>
 <ul>
  <li>
   CPR and Basic First Aid Certificate; must maintain certification status. TPMC will assist in obtaining this certification/training upon employment.
  </li>
  <li>
   OSHA 40-hr HAZWOPER course completion, including annual 8-hr refresher preferred, but not essential. TPMC will assist in obtaining this certification/training upon employment.
  </li>
  <li>
   Other training TPMC will provide includes annual site-specific and position-specific safety training.
  </li>
  <li>
   Must pass a pre-employment criminal background check.
  </li>
  <li>
   Successful candidate must submit to post-offer, pre-employment physical examination and medical history check.
  </li>
  <li>
   Individuals must pass a pre-employment drug screen and accept all company policies.
  </li>
  <li>
   This position will require a physical fit-for-duty screen
  </li>
  <li>
   While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet to moderate
  </li>
  <li>
   Physical demand requirements are in excess of those for sedentary work
  </li>
  <li>
   The employee exerts up to 20 pounds of force occasionally and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently, and/or negligible amount of force constantly to move objects

 Compensation:

   This is a position with negotiable annual salary terms within budgetary restraints.
  </li>
  <li>
   Compensation will be determined by evaluation of education and directly applicable experience.
  </li>
  <li>
   The selected candidate will report to the TPMC office and/or site location for the project.
  </li>
  <li>
