  Procurement Buyer

 recommends and develops strategic purchasing initiatives in the assigned area.Responsibilities include forecasting internal customer needs, sourcing solutions, providing cost-benefit analysis, and leading the RFP processes, including results driven, contract negotiations.The

 serves as a liaison between vendors and internal customers, creating transparent and productive working relationships.

  Responsibilities
  <br/>
  <br/>
 </strong>
 <ul>
  <li>
   Responsible for the procurement of capital equipment, other assigned materials, and services while developing CapEX strategies with cost reduction initiatives
  </li>
  <li>
   Review purchase requisitions for CAPEX projects to ensure all necessary information, documentation and required signatures are present
  </li>
  <li>
   Manage the entire contract lifecycle, including drafting the agreement, issue resolution, negotiating terms and prices, and approving and executing the final signed contract
  </li>
  <li>
   Manage the end-to-end strategic sourcing process including sourcing new vendors, data and market analysis, strategy development, pricing negotiations and contract review
  </li>
  <li>
   Develop long-term partnerships with world-class suppliers to source direct materials while establishing and maintaining strong relationships with vendors and suppliers for RFIs and RFPs
  </li>
  <li>
   Perform cost benefit analysis and determine opportunities for savings, project efficiency, and strategic sourcing initiatives
  </li>
  <li>
   Collaborate with internal stakeholders and vendors to develop scope of work and bid documents for RFPs, serving as the system expert and providing coaching and support as necessary
  </li>
  <li>
   Continuously develop and optimize supplier relationships to gather information in an effort to source the best quality materials at the optimum price at proper lead-times to meet business requirements
  </li>
  <li>
   Generate monthly reports and identify areas for cost containment/reductions in all areas of ownership as it relates to purchasing
  </li>
  <li>
   Conduct day-to-day purchasing for multiple departments in accordance to HARIBO&rsquo;s policies and procedures
  </li>
  <li>
   Other duties as assigned

 <ul>
  <li>
   Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Finance, Marketing, Supply Chain, or related field is required
  </li>
  <li>
   Minimum of 5 years of Capital Expenditure buying experience required; preferably within a CPG, Food &amp; Beverage, Snacking or Confectionary company
  </li>
  <li>
   SAP experience is required; Preferably the SAP S4 Hana Purchasing module

  </li>

   Strong communication, interpersonal, influencing and analytical skills are required
  </li>
