  How You&rsquo;ll Make An Impact

 As an Associate Producer for POTUS you will be an integral part of our 12-hour broadcast day. APs are the main support for Producers and hosts before, during and after live shows. With the 2024 Presidential election here, listeners coast-to-coast will turn to us for fair truthful commentary &ndash; this is on you as well as the whole team. We are fast-paced and know our politics.

  What You&rsquo;ll Do
  <br/>
  <br/>
 </strong>
 <ul>
  <li>
   Works with Talent and Producer on daily preparation before show and assistance during live broadcasts; including call screening during live broadcast
  </li>
  <li>
   Runs the audio board for various live and taped programs and edits audio for on-air use
  </li>
  <li>
   Implements daily tasks assigned from the Producer and Talent to meet broadcast deadlines
  </li>
  <li>
   Edits sound and creates produced/packaged elements for daily broadcast
  </li>
  <li>
   Uses social media to promote the show before, during, and after it airs
  </li>
  <li>
   Works with Producers to create / edit "Best of..." programs from archives of past shows for weekend or special re-broadcasting needs
  </li>
  <li>
   Serve as primary fill-in producer for various political talk programs.
  </li>
  <li>
   May provide hosts with news updates and breaking stories, on occasion

  What You&rsquo;ll Need

 <ul>
  <li>
   BS/BA Degree and/or equivalent combination of education and experience in politics preferred
  </li>
  <li>
   At least one year experience in live radio broadcasting in major market or on a national level recommended
  </li>
  <li>
   Some experience running an audio board and/or editing audio
  </li>
  <li>
   Knowledge of broadcast systems and experience with fast-paced deadline driven daily news/political show is crucial
  </li>
  <li>
   Experience working in live radio, preferably news and talk radio.
  </li>
  <li>
   Thorough understanding and ability to work in the areas of news and mostly politics.
  </li>
  <li>
   Interpersonal skills and ability to interact and work with staff at all levels.
  </li>
  <li>
   Ability to pay attention to details and be organized.
  </li>
  <li>
   Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  </li>
  <li>
   Excellent time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and multi-task, and work under shifting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  </li>

   Must have legal right to work in the U.S.
