Job Description

<p>This is a multi-level position responsible for interpreting and administering compliance state rules, reviewing, and analyzing all allegations that come through from our uplines and direct carrier relationships, compliance coaching, OIG/SGA monitoring and licensing operational duties as assigned. This position reports to the Vice President of Agency Operations/Compliance Officer and offers room to grow as the company grows.</p><h3>Essential Duties</h3><ul><li>Reviews and analyses all allegations that come from our uplines and carrier partners.</li><li>Provides quality coaching with the agent and manager on founded allegations or requested coaching assignments from carriers.</li><li>Tracks and identifies allegation trends and provides coaching opportunities for agents who need extra help.</li><li>Manages the PTC retrieval process with lead venders to satisfy carrier requests on CTMs and Grievances.</li><li>Researching and interpreting state Department of Insurance, CMS regulations and guidelines with assistance from the VP of Agency Operations.</li><li>Assists licensing staff with completion of carrier appointment applications and background detail when needed.</li><li>Composes and prepares correspondence for sales staff as it relates to compliance trends and CMS regulations.</li><li>Assists with CMS submission requests to uplines for approval.</li><li>Works closely with QA to consolidate opportunities for overall agent improvement.</li><li>Participates in corporate and departmental projects as they relate to sales staff records, and other duties as assigned.</li></ul><h3>Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities</h3><ul><li>Strong Analytical writing and research skills.</li><li>Solid knowledge of Medicare concepts, regulations, and plan detail understanding.</li><li>Acute attention to detail and documentation.</li><li>Intermediate to advanced level skills in MS Office Outlook, Word, and Excel.</li><li>Substantial oral and interpersonal communication skills involving patience with slow learners.</li><li>Experience handling sensitive information and confidentiality.</li><li>Exceptional critical thinking, problem solving and decision-making skills.</li><li>Excellent organizational, multi-tasking, and time management skills.</li><li>Comfort in working with databases, electronic applications, and electronic resources.</li></ul><h3>Required Education and Experience for Compliance Analyst</h3><ul><li>Related field, or equivalent experience working with compliance and sensitive information.</li><li>1 - 3 years data analysis experience with solid experience using Excel formulas.</li><li>Ability to interpret compliance documentation and/or governmental regulations and disseminate this information.</li><li>Excellent organizational and time management skills.</li></ul><p><strong>Job Type:</strong> Full-time</p><p><strong>Pay:</strong> $60,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year</p><h3>Benefits:</h3><ul><li>401(k)</li><li>Dental insurance</li><li>Health insurance</li><li>Paid time off</li><li>Vision insurance</li></ul><p><strong>Schedule:</strong> 8 hour shift</p><h3>Experience:</h3><ul><li>Microsoft Powerpoint: 4 years (Preferred)</li></ul><p><strong>Work Location:</strong> Remote</p>
