<div> One of our manufacturing clients in <strong> Vancouver, BC </strong> is looking for an <strong> Project Manager </strong> for their facility. <br/> <br/> <strong> Responsibilities <br/> <br/> </strong> <ul> <li> Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, schedule, budget, and resource allocation. </li> <li> Coordinate with stakeholders to define project objectives, requirements, and deliverables. </li> <li> Establish project milestones and timelines, and regularly monitor progress against established goals. </li> <li> Lead and motivate cross-functional project teams, including engineers, technicians, contractors, and other stakeholders. </li> <li> Delegate tasks and responsibilities effectively, ensuring clear communication and accountability. </li> <li> Foster a collaborative and positive work environment to promote team cohesion and productivity. </li> <li> Prepare and manage project budgets, ensuring accurate cost estimation and resource allocation. </li> <li> Monitor project expenses and implement cost-control measures to prevent budget overruns. </li> <li> Identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements throughout the project lifecycle. </li> <li> Proactively manage project risks by monitoring, evaluating, and implementing appropriate risk responses. </li> <li> Address stakeholder concerns and inquiries in a timely and professional manner. </li> <li> Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment and consensus on project objectives and priorities. </li> <li> Ensure adherence to industry standards, regulations, and best practices throughout the project lifecycle. </li> <li> Implement quality assurance processes and procedures to maintain high standards of workmanship and deliverables. </li> <li> Conduct regular inspections and quality reviews to verify compliance with project requirements and specifications. <br/> <br/> </li> </ul> <strong> Qualifications <br/> <br/> </strong> <ul> <li> Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, or related field; advanced degree or professional certification (PMP) preferred. </li> <li> Proven experience in project management within the steel industry, with a minimum of [X] years of relevant experience. </li> <li> Strong technical background in steel manufacturing processes, equipment, and materials. </li> <li> Proficiency in project management tools and software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Primavera, etc.). </li> <li> Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. </li> <li> Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and work effectively under pressure. </li> <li> Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. </li> <li> Knowledge of safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements applicable to steel industry projects. </li> </ul> </div>
