  Job Summary

 Reporting to a Project Manager, Special Projects, the
 <strong>
  Project Coordinator (Special Projects)
 </strong>
 will estimate, plan, and execute a high volume of short-term projects safely, on time, and within scope and budget.
 <br/>

 <strong>
  Responsibilities
  <br/>
  <br/>
 </strong>
 <ul>
  <li>
   Asinquiries are received, develop cost estimates and quotations for special project demands
  </li>
  <li>
   Review sites to identify potential constructability issues, safety hazards or operational requirements
  </li>
  <li>
   Attend site meetings with various stakeholders, as required
  </li>
  <li>
   Prepare documentation required for scheduling and mobilization
  </li>
  <li>
   Collaborate with the operations team, as well as internal and external resources, as required
  </li>
  <li>
   Compile all required information to submit utility locate requests, as well as keep utility locates valid before the work is scheduled
  </li>
  <li>
   Regular check ins with Foremen pre and post job hand off
  </li>
  <li>
   Troubleshoot on-site issues with assistance from the Project Manager and promptly communicate any incidents to the Project Manager to ensure workflow and project deliverables are met
  </li>
  <li>
   Complete forecasting (short and long term) requirements to ensure proper resources are maintained
  </li>
  <li>
   Ensure project folders are up-to-date with documentation related to the project, including email correspondence, and site photos.
  </li>
  <li>
   Manage a high volume of short-term projects, concurrently
  </li>
  <li>
   Other tasks as assigned and required

  Qualifications
  <br/>
  <br/>
 </strong>
 <ul>
  <li>
   Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering and/or Construction Management
  </li>
  <li>
   1+ year experience (co-operative education or internships included) within a Construction environment
  </li>
  <li>
   Strong communication skills and results oriented with a sense of urgency and effective problem-solving abilities
  </li>
  <li>
   Organized, flexible and able to adapt to changing business conditions in a fast-past work environment
  </li>
  <li>
   Demonstrated time management, scheduling, and negotiations skills
  </li>
  <li>
   Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office Suite) with ability to learn and maintain skillset with new technology platforms
  </li>
  <li>
   Must have a clean driving record and a valid G driver&rsquo;s license
  </li>
  <li>
   Able to work evenings and weekends on an ad-hoc basis
  </li>
  <li>
   Skills considered to be strong assets include Canadian Construction Labour Laws &amp; Codes, previous experience in a project coordinator role, MTO project exposure, previous supervisory experience, Jonas Software exposure
