<h3>POSITION TITLE: Engineer Wireless</h3><p><strong>CLASSIFICATION:</strong> Exempt</p><h3>POSITION OVERVIEW:</h3><p>ADB is a Nationwide full turnkey provider of technology infrastructure solutions including Wireline, Wireless, Technology, and Engineering. Our ALL IN culture includes a focus on Safety, Wellness, Learning, Diversity and Inclusion, and giving back to our Communities.</p><p>ADB is seeking an Engineer, Wireless to configure, survey, analyze, and design wireless networks for various small business through enterprise environments within our ADB Technology Division of ADB Companies, Inc. The ideal candidate will have wireless survey experience, a strong belief in safety, as well as a strong work ethic and an ALL IN attitude to achieve results.</p><h3>ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:</h3><ul><li>Ability to configure Wireless LAN Controller</li><li>Perform passive, active, and predictive wireless site surveys, and assessments to develop a strategy for optimizing the wireless network</li><li>Perform RF troubleshooting methodologies and techniques</li><li>Validate the impact of AP changes on RF network behavior and performance prior to deployment</li><li>Ability to read and understand High and Low-Level Designs for customers</li><li>Identify areas with weak or no signal and troubleshoot areas with connection instability</li><li>Work closely with internal Zero Day teams, including but not limited to, Solution Architects, Layer One Engineers, Network Engineers, and customers to review WLAN designs and AP installation strategies</li><li>Review and validate customer design requirements and follow customer standards for design documentation; recommend variations from these standards</li><li>Create report documentation, implementations, and process adherence</li><li>Performs other duties as assigned by leadership</li></ul><h3>SUCCESS FACTORS:</h3><ul><li>80% Travel Ability Nationwide</li><li>A strong belief in ZERO- Being Safe 100% of the time is the expectation</li><li>Alignment with company mission, vision, and values</li><li>A high level of customer centricity</li><li>Strong work ethic with an ALL IN attitude</li><li>Strong team player with the ability to adapt to diverse team members</li><li>Ability to perform in a fast paced/high volume environment</li><li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills</li><li>Exceptional Critical Thinking skills</li><li>Detail Oriented- a high level of attention to detail is required</li><li>A high level of time management, accountability, and prioritization skills</li><li>Self-motivated, goal- oriented, and driven to accomplish department goals</li><li>Ability to be organized, problem solve, and be solution oriented</li><li>Experience with Real Time Location Services; for example, MSE / CMX</li><li>Ability to utilize Cisco ISE/Aruba ClearPass software (preferred)</li><li>Certifications in CWNA/CCNA-W/CMNA/ACMA (preferred)</li></ul><h3>WORK ENVIRONMENT:</h3><ul><li>Corporate headquarters are located at 18777 US Highway 66 Pacific, MO 63069</li><li>This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as laptop computers, projectors, copy/fax, and smartphones.</li><li>Must be able to work in a variety of physical positions, including climbing, sitting, standing, walking and driving</li><li>May be exposed to uncomfortable or distracting sounds or noise levels on sites of projects being managed or coordinated</li><li>When working on site, will be required to wear common protective of safety equipment, such as safety glasses, gloves, hearing protection, hard hats and life jackets</li></ul><h3>EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION:</h3><ul><li>3-5 Years of Wireless survey experience with Cisco, Aruba, and/or Meraki</li><li>1 Year of experience utilizing Ekahau software with SideKick required (Air Magnet and Spectrum Analysis survey tools experience is a plus)</li><li>High School Diploma or equivalent required</li></ul><p>ADB Companies, LLC is an equal opportunity employer.
