Job Description

<h3>Job Summary</h3><p>The Mobile Support System Engineer will provide assistance for all software deployment activities within the IT Operations team. This individual will provide input for all projects that involve workstation imaging. The Mobile Support System Engineer is responsible for assisting in the maintenance and deploy functions of desktop, laptop and mobile hardware and operating systems. The Endpoint System Engineer must be able to support and maintain systems in an enterprise environment.</p><h3>Essential Duties & Responsibilities</h3><ul><li>Design operating system standards, images, and deployment processes across different platforms</li><li>Build and implement Modern Desktop solutions</li><li>Recommend strategies, roadmaps, and standards for all platform infrastructures, ensuring security, and compliance with industry best practices</li><li>Provide support for complex issues, partnering with other internal teams or vendors when appropriate</li><li>Maintain documentation of all technology processes and components</li><li>Administration and configuration of mobile device management (MDM), other mobility management platforms and related technology.</li><li>Development of mobile device policies and configurations on iOS and Android operating systems to support BYOD and corporate owned devices.</li><li>Work directly with the Mobile Support Technicians to provide tier 3 support for Android and Apple operating systems and troubleshooting mobile devices.</li><li>Create and manage the upkeep of wireless and mobile documentation including detailed deployment, test, and support plans.</li><li>Provide after-hours support as needed for critical systems</li></ul><h3>Qualifications</h3><ul><li>Develop solutions to problems, as well as manage multiple issues at the same time</li><li>Ability to use logic and reasoning when troubleshooting difficult issues</li><li>Ability to think outside the box; imagine innovative effective solutions and designs</li><li>Understanding and appropriately responding to feedback</li><li>Strong oral and written communication skills</li><li>Ability to collaborate effectively with other team members</li><li>Must be available to work outside of normal business hours as needed.</li><li>Some travel by car and/or air in conjunction with local, regional and/or national travel, up to 5%.</li></ul><h3>Education & Experience</h3><ul><li>Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or equivalent experience</li><li>~1 year PC/Mac, or mobile support/maintenance experience</li></ul><h3>Systems & Technology</h3><ul><li>Knowledgeable of Mac products, and associated productivity applications</li><li>Proficient in PowerShell Scripting</li><li>Advanced knowledge of Windows and Mac operating systems</li><li>Knowledge of Apple Business Manager and Samsung Knox.</li><li>Experience with Active Directory and Office 365 as they relate to mobile technology.</li><li>Experience with Jira to track projects and tasks</li></ul><h3>About Stifel</h3><p>Stifel is a more than 130 years old and still thinking like a start-up.
