<h3>Benefits Package: Company Paid!</h3><ul><li>Medical, Dental, Prescription & Vision Benefits* - No premium cost!</li><li>Life, AD&D, and LTD insurance</li><li>Paid Vacation and Holidays</li><li>Teladoc, TriaHealth</li><li>Company-Matched 401(k) and IRA Retirement Savings</li><li>Per-Diem paid when overnight travel is required</li><li>Drive time and mileage paid for use of a personal vehicle when travel is required</li></ul><h3>Requirements:</h3><ul><li>2-5 years experience as a Low Voltage Cable Technician.</li><li>Demonstrated experience leading teams of technicians on multi-week projects.</li><li>Available and willing for extensive travel nationwide.</li><li>Ability to work primarily night shifts.</li><li>Flexible and willing to work on-call, day, night, weekend, or overtime shifts as the job requires.</li><li>Able to lead small teams (2 to 3 people).</li><li>Strong knowledge of industry standards (BICSI, NEC, TIA/EIA).</li><li>Industry-specific certifications (BICSI, Systimax, Panduit, Beldon, Corning) are a huge plus.</li><li>Capable of reading blueprints and site maps.</li><li>Experience in CCTV, voice, Fire Alarm and data cabling is a plus.</li><li>Excellent customer relationship and communication skills; verbal and written.</li><li>Ability to consistently complete projects within budget, on time, and in a safe manner.</li><li>Proficient with the use of computers, including email, spreadsheets, PDF documentation, and databases Microsoft Office programs.</li><li>Must be comfortable working unsupervised and also effectively communicating and collaborating with teams of 4 to 20 other technicians.</li><li>Knowledgeable in identifying independent colors and learning color codes.</li><li>Knowledge of Cat5/CAT6 cabling and installation of small equipment: switches, brides, cameras (specifically Axis).</li><li>Able to neatly dress and terminate large bundles of cables inside IDF and MDF cabinets.</li><li>Must have strong interpersonal skills; this position frequently requires customer and General Contract interactions.</li><li>Ability to work in cramped spaces.</li><li>Ability to operate a BOOM or scissor lift (19'); and to work at heights.</li><li>Has basic telecommunication tools, all industry hand tools, and PPE.</li><li>Reliable transportation with required insurance coverage.</li><li>Must have knowledge of cabling infrastructure.</li><li>Experience in conduit installation is a plus.</li><li>Execute advanced troubleshooting skills.</li><li>Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; no DUI or DWI in the last three years.</li></ul><h3>Responsibilities:</h3><ul><li>Install, troubleshoot, and maintenance of various structured cabling systems including fiber, Cat5, and Cat6 in retail environments.</li><li>Run low voltage cabling in commercial buildings, including drilling concrete walls and limited conduit work.</li><li>Ensure all cables are neatly tied and bundled according to safety regulations.</li><li>Assist with pre-installation opportunities by designing and planning technical solutions.</li><li>Install cable support structures such as j-hooks pathways, cable racks, and innerduct.</li><li>Repairing cable poles and towers.</li><li>Conduct tests to ensure all newly installed cable systems and component devices are operational.</li><li>Troubleshoot issues with the cable network.</li><li>Perform any other duties not specifically stated herein, but which your supervisor may assign.</li><li>Maintain the company’s high standard of quality and professionalism with regard to workmanship, customer relations, coworkers, behavior, and appearance.</li></ul>
