Job Description
<h3>Position Title:</h3> Level II Technician, CAD <h3>Classification:</h3> Non-Exempt <h3>Position Overview:</h3> ADB is a Nationwide full turnkey provider of technology infrastructure solutions including Wireline, Wireless, Technology, and Engineering. Our customer-centric approach has ensured long-term relationships with commercial clients, service providers, local, state, and federal government organizations. ADB is seeking a Level II Technician, CAD to provide CAD drawing and support within our OSP Engineering division. The ideal candidate will be customer and quality focused, have a high level of attention to detail, with a strong work ethic and ALL IN attitude. <h3>Roles and Responsibilities:</h3> <ul> <li>Creates mid-level CAD drawings and details for various ISP/OSP utility construction projects</li> <li>Verify CAD design data against GIS system and make corrections when needed</li> <li>Makes revisions on CAD drawings provided by Engineers or CAD Lead</li> <li>Creates base mapping of existing surface features</li> <li>Utilizes existing PDF utility plans to map out existing utility infrastructure</li> <li>Interprets redlines from construction vs. original design to create a closeout package</li> <li>Independently creates construction ready drawing set including quantities and Bill of Materials</li> <li>Modifies and updates design routes with the assistance of Design Engineers/CAD Lead</li> <li>Researches and maps Right of Way data for construction routes</li> <li>Creates specialty permit drawings</li> <li>Provides training and support to Entry-level CAD techs</li> <li>Ability to read and interpret utility construction drawings and prints</li> <li>Collaborates with team mates on daily workloads and assignments</li> <li>Performs other position duties as requested by leadership</li> </ul> <h3>Success Factors:</h3> <ul> <li>Travel Ability Nationwide</li> <li>A strong belief in ZERO - Being Safe 100% of the time is the expectation</li> <li>Alignment with the company's mission, vision, and values</li> <li>High level of customer centricity</li> <li>Strong team player with the ability to adapt to diverse team members</li> <li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills</li> <li>Exceptional Critical Thinking skills</li> <li>Detail Oriented</li> <li>High level of time management, accountability, and prioritization skills</li> <li>Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and driven</li> <li>Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office and CAD/Spatial applications</li> </ul> <h3>Work Environment:</h3> This role routinely uses standard office equipment <h3>Experience and Education:</h3> <ul> <li>2-3+ years of CAD experience in telecommunications industry required</li> <li>Associates degree in Computer Aided Drafting preferred</li> <li>High School diploma or equivalent required</li> </ul> <p>ADB Companies, LLC is an equal opportunity employer.
