<li>This job posting is for a Senior Systems Engineer on <strong>Tandem</strong> Systems. Must have experience with <strong>Guardian OS</strong> tools and utilities, <strong>Sysgen</strong>, <strong>Clim</strong> <strong>management</strong>, <strong>Network expertise</strong>. Third party tools like Prognosis and MQ would be a plus. We are looking for an <em>individual looking for a long term position</em> on our team.</li>
<li><strong>What you will do:</strong>
<ul>
<li>Create and integrates solutions and services.</li>
<li>Direct or recommend enhancements for system performance, reliability, scalability, and capacity.</li>
<li>Lead the configuration of hardware and software solutions.</li>
<li>Evaluate product and service solutions.</li>
<li>Lead and develop multi-platform converged enterprise standards.</li>
<li>Model and provide solutions targeted to meet existing, enhanced, and new platform solutions for business, customer, and infrastructure services.</li>
<li>Be Subject matter expert in multiple hardware and software platforms.</li>
<li>Lead advanced knowledge sharing and recommendations for system hardware/software solutions, telecommunication protocols, configurations, security, network protocols, and services.</li>
<li>Develop new solutions and integrated service offerings to meet large-scale or enterprise projects or service requirements.</li>
<li>Troubleshoot, resolve, and recommend improvement for systems, network, and security problems at an advanced level across multiple/converged technology solutions, services, and platforms.</li>
<li>Author and provide input for multiple and converged systems and services, system documentation, procedures, and processes.</li>
<li>Coordinate the maintenance and modification of systems. For multiple and converged systems and services will lead or provide guidance for advanced technical support. Develops and performs capacity and resource planning to optimize and expand existing network systems.</li>

<h3>Basic Qualifications</h3>
<ul>
<li>Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience</li>
<li>At least 5 years of experience within a total information technology (IT) environment</li>
<li>At least 10 years of experience with the design, development and support of technology infrastructure</li>
</ul>
<h3>Preferred Skills/Experience</h3>
<ul>
<li><strong>Tandem/HPE</strong> Nonstop software and utilities</li>
<li>Must have experience with <strong>Guardian OS tools</strong> and <strong>utilities, Sysgen, Clim management, Network</strong> expertise with <strong>TCPIP</strong></li>
<li>Third party tools like <strong>Prognosis</strong> and <strong>MQ</strong> would be a plus.</li>
<li><strong>Hardware installation and support</strong></li>
<li>Storage hardware</li>
<li><strong>Contingency</strong> and <strong>disaster recovery</strong></li>
<li><strong>Software installation/support</strong></li>
<li>Systems programming Experience</li>

<p>The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role. In addition to salary, U.S. Bank offers a comprehensive benefits package, including incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase 401(k) contribution and pension (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). Pay Range: $102,340.00 - $120,400.00 - $132,440.00</p>
