  One of the leading specialist civil contractors in New York is looking to expand their growing team with the addition of an Assistant Project Manager.
 </p>
 <p>

  They have over 20 years of experience and are responsible for some of the City&rsquo;s most iconic infrastructure projects with long-standing relationships with public agencies.
 </p>

   Responsibilities
  </strong>
 </p>
 <ul>
  <li>
   RFIs
  </li>
  <li>
   Submittals
  </li>
  <li>
   Assisting the Project manager in scheduling
  </li>
  <li>
   Assisting the Project Manager in budgeting
  </li>
  <li>
   Keep an accurate log of project progress ensuring that deadlines and milestones are routinely met
  </li>
  <li>
   Stakeholder engagement
  </li>
  <li>
   Assist purchasing in material procurement, vendor management and contract negotiations
  </li>
 </ul>

  <strong>
   Experience Required
  </strong>
 </p>
 <ul>
  <li>
   At least 2 years of experience working in the civil construction industry
  </li>
  <li>
   Should have prior experience working for a contractor or general contractor with experience in concrete, grading, earthwork, foundations or landscaping
  </li>
  <li>
   Site based experience is preferred
  </li>
  <li>
   Prior experience in the New York City Construction industry
  </li>
  <li>
   Excellent written and oral communication skills
  </li>
  <li>
   A Bachelors degree in construction management, civil engineering or similar related field is preferred but not essential
  </li>
