 We are seeking an Associate Designer to support the development &amp; execution of the Vuori Women&rsquo;s woven apparel and accessories. This individual will be responsible for supporting the design process, including but not limited to: concept, research, design, tech pack creation, BOM development, fabric selection, trim selection, fitting, and finessing product. To be effective in this role, the individual must be eager to learn and support the team in any way needed, have an eye for elevated design, and have a basic understanding of Vuori aesthetics. We are looking for someone who is passionate about the performance apparel space, Vuori&rsquo;s mission and will embody the brand&rsquo;s values.

  What you'll get to do:

 </strong>
 <ul>
  <li>
   Working closely with the Design Team to research trend, style inspiration, and trim.
  </li>
  <li>
   Managing an assortment of styles within your category, working closely with senior team members to develop design-informed solutions for our customers.
  </li>
  <li>
   Overseeing and supporting on product visuals and tech pack creation/updates.
  </li>
  <li>
   Integrating market knowledge, trend research, and insights from our community to create designs that are functional, innovative, and of the highest quality.
  </li>
  <li>
   Demonstrating a strong understanding of apparel market trends and competitive landscape
  </li>
  <li>
   Ensuring the accurate communication of design intent through the fitting process, collaborating with the in-house team to create mockups and prototypes.
  </li>
  <li>
   Promoting teamwork and clear communication within the cross-functional team, including product development, technical design, merchandising, materials, color, and sourcing.
  </li>
  <li>
   Maintaining keen attention to detail throughout the product development process to create technically excellent performance apparel and accessories that seamlessly blend style and function.

  Who you are:
  <br/>
  <br/>
 </strong>
 <ul>
  <li>
   3+ years of experience in the contemporary fashion industry.
  </li>
  <li>
   Woven apparel experience preferred
  </li>
  <li>
   A bachelor&rsquo;s degree in design (BA, BFA, or BS) or equivalent qualifications.
  </li>
  <li>
   Must live in the San Diego area or be willing to relocate.
  </li>
  <li>
   Proficient at Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, Microsoft Teams, Microsoft PowerPoint, Office and Excel.
  </li>
  <li>
   Familiarity with Excel, Word, and the Mac platform.
  </li>
  <li>
   Knowledge of 3D design is a plus

 The salary range for this role is $72,000 per year - $85,000 per year.
