<div> <strong> Position Overview <br/> <br/> </strong> <strong> Applications accepted from: All Persons Interested <br/> <br/> </strong> <strong> Job Classification: Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist <br/> <br/> </strong> <strong> Posting Number: PN# 34591 <br/> <br/> </strong> <strong> Department: HUMAN RESOURCES DEPARTMENT <br/> <br/> </strong> <strong> Division: HR Operations <br/> <br/> </strong> <strong> Reporting Location: 611 Walker St. <br/> <br/> </strong> <strong> Workdays & Hours: MONDAY – FRIDAY 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM* *Subject to Change <br/> <br/> </strong> <strong> Description Of Duties / Essential Functions <br/> <br/> </strong> The Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist coordinates and leads professional human resources activities by promoting the employer brand, conducting digital recruiting, responding to applicant status inquiries, creating job listings, coordinating applicant sourcing and community recruitment activities. <br/> <br/> <strong> The Selected Candidate Will Perform The Following Primary Functions <br/> <br/> </strong> <ul> <li> Conducts recruitment and related personnel functions. </li> <li> Drafts job postings, prescreen applicants, coordinate pre-employment eligibility requirements, and extending job offers. </li> <li> Performs limited candidate sourcing through online and other tools. </li> <li> Participates in job fairs, seminars, and visit professional organizations to pipeline talent, help build organizational relationships and to market positions. </li> <li> Administers the use of social platforms to promote new jobs, answer follower questions and write/post content. </li> <li> Completes quarterly budget reconciliations. </li> <li> Additional professional duties consist of producing memorandums for various actions, monitor Mayor’s Office Approvals for staffing actions, provide HR guidance to Executive Staff, maintain organizational & staffing reports, and generate other recruiting/staffing status reports as requested. <br/> <br/> </li> </ul> <strong> WORKING CONDITIONS <br/> <br/> </strong> This position is physically comfortable; the individual has discretion about walking, standing, etc. There are no major sources of discomfort in a normal office environment. <br/> <br/> <strong> Minimum Requirements <br/> <br/> </strong> <strong> EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS <br/> <br/> </strong> Requires a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Public Administration, Organization Management or a closely related field. <br/> <br/> <strong> Experience Requirements <br/> <br/> </strong> Three years of related professional experience in human resources performing staffing and recruitment functions are required. <br/> <br/> <strong> Pertinent experience at the professional level may be substituted for the education requirement on a year-for-year basis. <br/> <br/> </strong> <strong> Minimum License Requirements <br/> <br/> </strong> none <br/> <br/> <strong> PREFERENCES <br/> <br/> </strong> Preference shall be given to eligible veteran applicants provided such persons possess the qualifications necessary for competent discharge of the duties involved in the position applied for, such persons are among the most qualified candidates for the position, and all other factors in accordance with Executive Order 1-6. <br/> <br/> <strong> Excellent analytical skills and highly proficient with Microsoft Office products. Must have excellent conflict resolution skills, effective written and verbal communication skills as well as the ability to work independently.
