<div> <strong> Role: Sr. Project/Program Manager <br/> <br/> </strong> <strong> Location: Baltimore , MD (Onsite with Hybrid) <br/> <br/> </strong> <strong> Duration: 12 Months Contract <br/> <br/> </strong> <strong> Job Summary <br/> <br/> </strong> The Program Manager is the contractor’s manager for the Contract and serves as the single point of contact for the Master Contractor with the State regarding the Contract. <br/> <br/> <strong> Duties/ Responsibilities <br/> <br/> </strong> <ul> <li> Performs overall management for Contract support operations. </li> <li> Organizes, directs, and coordinates the planning and production of all Contract activities, projects and support activities, including those of subcontractors. </li> <li> Oversees the development of or develops work breakdown structures, charts, tables, graphs, major milestone calendars and diagrams to assist in analyzing problems and making recommendations. </li> <li> Demonstrates excellent written and verbal communications skills. </li> <li> Establishes and alters corporate management structure to direct effective and efficient Contract support activities. </li> <li> Must be capable of negotiating and making binding decisions for the Master Contractor. </li> <li> Develop and implement appropriate procedures and reporting for the implementation consistent with the overall program </li> <li> Client relationship and expectation management </li> <li> Vendor performance management </li> <li> Preparing work plans, status reports </li> <li> Managing communication, coordination and performance of other stakeholders as needed </li> <li> Contribute to setting required project pace by defining corresponding project and individual responsibilities, objectives, tasks, schedules, and outputs </li> <li> Directly contribute to and share the responsibility for the project performance by planning, monitoring and adjusting project resources (people, budget, material, time) </li> <li> Manage project risks and issues: root cause analysis, implementation of corrective/preventive actions, compliance with PMI methodology, and continual process improvement efforts </li> <li> Create and sustain a culture that encourages high performance of individuals and teams </li> <li> Employee is expected to undertake any additional duties as they are assigned by their Manager <br/> <br/> </li> </ul> <strong> Education <br/> <br/> </strong> <ul> <li> Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business or other related discipline. </li> <li> Master’s degree and/or project management Professional (PMP) certification is preferred. <br/> <br/> </li> </ul> <strong> General Experience <br/> <br/> </strong> <ul> <li> At least 12 years of experience in program or project management with a minimum 2 years healthcare project management experience. </li> <li> Strong leadership aptitude to foster a positive work environment that considers the dynamics of physical, social, psychological, and environmental factors </li> <li> Strong interpersonal skills to build client rapport and develop/discipline/reward employees </li> <li> Solid analytical skills and ability to make decisions and solve problems </li> <li> Excellent time management abilities </li> <li> Demonstrated problem-solving and customer service skills </li> <li> Strong written and verbal communication skills </li> <li> Ability to work independently and manage work to a defined schedule </li> <li> Experience conducting meetings, interviews and making presentations </li> <li> Specific experience in evaluating quality assurance /quality control testing and User Acceptance Testing efforts </li> <li> Team player and a consistent, dependable performer with an excellent work ethic, flexible “can-do” attitude, and a results-driven commitment to success </li> <li> Ability to apply industry best practices and future state/federal mandates to existing systems <br/> <br/> </li> </ul> <strong> Specialized Experience <br/> <br/> </strong> <ul> <li> At least eight (8) years of experience in supervision or oversight of large IT or complex systems related programs or projects </li> </ul> </div>
