<h3>About the Role:</h3>
<ul>
<li>As a project manager in the Policy and Program Strategic Solutions Practice, you will collaborate with team members to conceptualize, deliver, and support our clients through today’s ever-changing healthcare landscape. NYSTEC is considered a trusted advisor, providing subject matter expertise and connecting the dots for our clients. NYSTEC has consulted on some of the largest Medicaid initiatives and served in various roles across a multitude of New York State healthcare technology systems.</li>
<li>Your day-to-day role as a NYSTEC consultant will include supporting the New York State Department of Health (NYSDOH), Office of Health Insurance Programs’ (OHIP), Division of Data Services and Analytics (DDSA). As a project manager, you will provide project planning, work effort coordination, problem-solving skills, and lead stakeholder communication to support our client’s strategic initiatives portfolio.</li>
<li>You will need to demonstrate the ability to problem-solve, take initiative on assigned projects, and work independently to provide based on client need. You will also be required to work alongside numerous stakeholder groups to elicit and document business requirements that pertain to program needs and current- and future-state planning.</li>
<li>For this role, you will be required to attend in-person meetings at the client site, at a minimum of once every two weeks, and at the NYSTEC office once a week.</li>

<li>Creating key project documentation.</li>
<li>Planning agendas and scheduling meetings.</li>
<li>Updating presentation materials.</li>
<li>Capturing meeting minutes.</li>
<li>Organizing action items, risks, and issues.</li>
<li>Assisting with project quality management.</li>
<li>Tracking project timelines and progress.</li>
<li>Prioritize projects and competing priorities.</li>
<li>Working closely with the project team and external stakeholders to ensure that key project milestones are achieved in a timely manner.</li>
</ul>
<h3>About You:</h3>
<h3>Required Qualifications</h3>
<ul>
<li>Strong writing, documentation, communication, and analytical skills to meet project goals.</li>
<li>Experience as a project coordinator or project manager.</li>
<li>Proficient with Microsoft Office suite.</li>
<li>Demonstrated organization and planning skills.</li>
<li>Ability to develop relationships with stakeholders and to understand their needs through excellent listening and effective written and verbal communication.</li>
</ul>
<h3>Preferred/Desired Qualifications</h3>
<ul>
<li>Experience working on information technology projects.</li>
<li>Experience working on healthcare projects.</li>
</ul>
<h3>Education and Experience</h3>
<ul>
<li>A bachelor's degree and two years of related experience. An equivalent combination of advanced education, training, and experience will be considered.</li>
</ul>
<p>The pay range for this position is $60,334.00 to $82,959.80 per year.</p>
