As the sole UX designer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the user experience of our software products. You will work closely with the President and CEO and collaborate with offshore development teams to deliver user-centric designs that meet the complex needs of our clients.</p><h3>Requirements:</h3><h4>Key Responsibilities:</h4><ul><li>Design Leadership: Lead the UX design efforts for our case management software, ensuring a cohesive and intuitive user experience.</li><li>Independent Work: Operate autonomously, taking full ownership of the UX design process from concept to execution.</li><li>Collaboration: Work closely with the President and CEO to align design strategies with business goals. Communicate effectively with offshore development teams to implement designs.</li><li>Prototyping: Use Figma to create interactive prototypes demonstrating design concepts and workflows.</li><li>Customer Research: Conduct user research, gather insights, and understand the needs of prosecuting attorneys and public defenders. Engage directly with clients to validate designs and gather feedback.</li><li>Complex Workflow Design: Develop user interfaces that simplify and enhance the management of large datasets and complex legal workflows.</li><li>Visual Consistency: Ensure the product's look and feel are consistent, modern, and align with our brand identity.</li></ul><h4>Qualifications:</h4><ul><li>Experience: 5+ years of UX design experience, preferably focusing on software products involving large data sets and complex workflows.</li><li>Technical Skills: Proficiency in Figma and other design tools.
