Your next opportunity:
Boral Asphalt has an exciting opportunity for a responsible, organised, and experienced professional to join our Major Projects Team as a Project Engineer based in Williamstown, VIC 3016.
In this role, you will oversee the management and coordination of asphalt projects, ensuring they exceed industry standards, minimize risk, and fulfill Boral’s performance expectations.
Your day will involve:
* Planning and scheduling of day-to-day activities to meet project milestones
* Liaising and working closely with senior engineers and site personnel to deliver performance outcomes
* Effectively apply terms of the contract in maximizing value
* Monitoring of supplier & subcontractor performance
* Provide engineering support to management as required
What are we looking for?
* Proven ability with experience in civil engineering roles
* Relevant tertiary qualifications in the engineering field
* Contractor management experience
* Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize competing deadlines
* Knowledge and understanding of project management methodology
* Proficient Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint skills and Project
* Demonstrated ability to develop effective working relationships with all people, and to lead and influence people
* Personal drive and results-orientation
