Job Description

Main duties and responsibilities:
* Working on Projects within the Infrastructure and high-rise Residential sectors, providing construction engineering services.
* Analyse, design and detail structural and civil engineering elements that are used during the construction stage of various projects.
* Utilise advanced structural engineering software for the analysis and design of various structures using timber, steel and concrete materials.
* Oversee the generation of, and generate high-quality technical drawings, ensuring adherence to the relevant Australian Design Standards and Riddwood’s templates.
* Problem solve for your own tasks and provide technical direction and mentorship to junior engineers.
* Establish ongoing rapport with colleagues and Clients.
* Work both independently and as part of a Team during the completion of your tasks.
* Carry out site inspections to validate the as-built temporary works elements.
* Maintain regular and timely communication with managers and colleagues on the progress and issues that develop in relation to ongoing projects.
Work Experience Requirements:
* BEng Civil/Structural Engineering, recognised by Engineers Australia.
* Minimum 1 year’s experience from a consulting background undertaking structural design.
* Basic knowledge and understanding of Australian Design Codes.
* Ability to work well within a team environment and independently.
* Exceptional communication skills.
* Eligible to work full-time in Australia.
