Job Description

TSK Consultant Pty Ltd (‘TSK’) is a dynamic engineering firm specialising in civil engineering and stormwater drainage solutions. TSK is looking for a skilled and passionate Civil Engineer to join their team in Knoxfield, VIC.
Location: 8 Graham Road, Knoxfield, VIC 3180
Salary: $73,150 + superannuation
Hours: Full Time: 38 hours per week
*Key Responsibilities and Key Duties*
* Site coordination tasks in conjunction with the other civil engineers and directors;
* Obtain & study handover briefing documentation at the start of each project, ensuring its completeness;
* Project planning, including preparation of all documentation, materials and installation programs for client and internal purposes;
* Communication with factory, construction crews, builders, engineers, architects and subcontractors, to gather requirements to proceed with the project(s);
* Plan project materials and draft construction plans with appropriate methods;
* Incorporate changes to plans as needed and ensure these changes fit material requirements;
* Advise on-site construction to ensure adherence to plans;
* Determine site suitability to project needs by conducting soil analyses;
* Cost produce plans, with reference to materials and labour needs;
* Consider population and usage changes in planning processes;
* Set project up for the purposes of shop drawing production, inclusive of mark-up drawings, details and any other required documentation;
* Communicate to all parties and deviation from programs, and submit paperwork to satisfy all contractual obligations;
* Control and action QA correspondence, registers, approvals, non-conformance to standards, procedures and audits; and
* Document, schedule and order materials via purchasing procedure where required.
*Essential Criteria*
* Sound knowledge in engineering principles, including stormwater drainage design, strategy, concept planning, urban planning, storm reporting and drainage investigation;
* A proficient understanding of Australian Standards in relation to civil engineering;
* A minimum qualification of Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (civil engineering preferred).
* No convictions on Police Check.
